The beautiful Bateaux-Mouches is an idyllic main attraction in Paris. The point of embarkation is located at Pont de l’Alma, which is also the name of the local metro.

When exiting the metro station, follow exit number 2.

You can get tickets to dine or just experience the sights for 1 hour as you sit back and listen to pre recorded messages in English, French, Spanish, Italian, German and a few other languages; explaining the sights as you pass them in a timely manner. This is available online or in person on the day. It is advisable to check online for two factors, a good discount and pre booking. The boats run every hour so it’s important to check the time beforehand.

There is a souvenir shop which is designated to visit before boarding your boat, be sure to arrive early and ask the staff if it open as it is difficult to enter once exiting the boat, due to a one way system. You can also buy snacks and refreshments in the shop and there are toilet facilities onboard each boat.

Look out for the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Louvre and Musée d’Orsay as you coast along the river Seine. Plus many private boats and yachts.
