The Simple 5 Day Challenge: Day 1

Would you like to take part in the simple 5 day challenge? If yes, all you need to do is start some high impact exercise for 10 – 15 minutes a day.

Obviously if you have any health issues please consult your doctor for advice. And if you already exercise regularly then you are ahead of the game, perhaps you may just need some regularity. But for those who don’t: For the next 7 days starting today, at least 10 minutes of exercise is required.

There are various simple strategies that you can follow, get your stepper or any exercise machine that you have out, jog on the spot while watching you favourite TV show, or dance to a couple of fast paced songs. Just do something that gets your heart racing for at least 10 minutes. Obviously don’t over exert yourself and pass out.

Below you will see some YouTube videos to give you some inspiration. Remember if you don’t like the music, you can always mute the video, play your own and still follow the routine. You can also repeat the same video for 5 days if you feel more comfortable than trying out new ones.

Be sure to open your windows while you are exercising at home and if you can actually get out for a few minutes in the garden or go for a short jog outside to get the benefit of the fresh air, this will also enhance the quality of oxygen that you receive. And remember to have some water at hand incase you need a sip.
